DESIGN DESCRIPTION : Kashmir's skilled artisans have infused traditional Persian and Mughal influences into handmade Kashmiri rugs. The rug features a beautiful circular shape with intricate floral and geometric patterns, creating a mandala-like appearance. At the centre is a large, light blue quatrefoil shape with a complex floral design, while a dark navy border with repeating floral elements encircles the entire art piece.

COLOUR: Deep burgundy, navy blue, and olive green set the tone, complemented by softer shades of blue, beige, and golden yellow.
EMBROIDERY THREAD : Woollen yarn
EMBROIDERY TECHNIQUE : A traditional hand embroidery technique using a hook-like tool called "Aurah" to create a series of looped stitches, resulting in a beautiful, chain-like pattern on the fabric.
