This old, hand crafted, painted wood trunk has great character and patina. It was once owned by someone named Duncan as it's marked "Duncan's" on the lid. It was probably used either to store tools (if he was an adult) or toys (if he was a kid).

We stacked this trunk and the other similar sized trunk we have listed at the end of the bed and stored blankets in one and out of season clothes in the other. At one point they were used in our shop to store miscellaneous furniture parts. The fact that it has a padlock latch and can be locked is a great bonus.
